Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in West Hartford, CT

Key Qualifications:

• Valid CT SLP-CCC license required
• Completed Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Previous experience in school-based SLP roles preferred
• Strong communication, assessment, and individualized education program (IEP) skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Organized, flexible, and responsive to diverse student needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students at two schools
• Complete assessments and evaluations as needed
• Develop and implement IEPs, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
• Participate in team meetings and planning sessions as needed
