Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP license for Utah or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY applicants considered
- Experience in a school-based setting (preferred, but not required)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt and tailor therapy to diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, articulation, fluency, and related communication disorders among K-12 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Conduct screenings and evaluations using evidence-based practices
- Maintain accurate student records, progress notes, and documentation
- Provide consultation and support to educational teams and parents
- Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and professional development activities
