Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid SLP license for Utah or eligibility to obtain
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY applicants considered
  • Experience in a school-based setting (preferred, but not required)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt and tailor therapy to diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, articulation, fluency, and related communication disorders among K-12 students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
  • Conduct screenings and evaluations using evidence-based practices
  • Maintain accurate student records, progress notes, and documentation
  • Provide consultation and support to educational teams and parents
  • Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and professional development activities
