With placements likely in a variety of settings—including Essential (Life Skills) Skills programs within a respected district in Tippecanoe County—you’ll have the chance to work with a diverse caseload of students while developing both your clinical and professional skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Indiana state SLP license (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong CFY candidates welcome
- Pediatric experience, especially in school or healthcare settings, is a plus
- Teletherapy background and flexibility to adapt to different service models
- Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students in individual or small-group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to develop and implement IEPs
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation following all district and state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
- Support students in Essential (Life Skills) Skills programs as assigned
- Adapt and modify therapy approaches to meet students’ diverse communication needs
