Step into a role making a true difference by providing speech-language services to preschool students within a supportive educational environment. Starting as soon as possible and extending through June 19th, this position offers the chance to work full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, at a single campus near West Orange, NJ.

Ideal candidates are passionate about helping young learners grow their communication skills and are comfortable adapting strategies for a variety of needs, whether on-site or via teletherapy.

Desired Background and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric therapy settings highly valued
  • Proficiency in supporting early childhood communication development
  • Familiarity with IEP implementation and progress tracking
  • Strong collaborative approach with colleagues, parents, and support staff
  • Flexibility to provide traditional and teletherapy services as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech, language, and communication therapy to preschool-aged children
  • Evaluate student needs and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families for cohesive student support
  • Maintain thorough documentation of services, progress reports, and data tracking
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
