Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Florida
- Previous experience in school-based settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- CFYs (Clinical Fellows) are encouraged to apply
- Flexibility to work with various grade levels, from early childhood through high school
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with district and state requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with staff and families
- Offer support and training to teachers and caregivers on strategies to encourage communication skills in the classroom and at home
