The position runs from August 17th through approximately June 15th (with a slight extension possible for snow days). Qualified candidates will play an essential role in helping students in grades 6, 7, and 8—supporting a caseload of approximately 35. The schedule is professional: 7.5 hours each day, allowing you to maintain a structured work-life balance. This is an on-site, in-person position where your hands-on expertise will make a lasting impact.
Qualifications:
- Hold or be eligible for SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials
- Experience in school-based SLP settings strongly preferred
- Open to those with SLPA or SLP-CF backgrounds (will be considered)
- Ability to manage an organized caseload for middle schoolers
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in grades 6-8
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with educators and families
- Document sessions and student progress, ensuring compliance with educational and clinical guidelines
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
