Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Demonstrated experience working in school settings, particularly with early childhood populations
- Strong background in delivering innovative, engaging therapy within classroom settings
- Comfort with push-in service delivery models and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with early learners and their families
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for PreK-Kindergarten students to identify speech and language needs
- Implement individualized intervention plans, integrating them within classroom routines through push-in sessions
- Work alongside teachers to model strategies and support student participation
- Regularly document and monitor progress, adapting strategies as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise on communication development
- Provide guidance and education for staff and families to promote continuity of support beyond therapy sessions
