This full-time, contract opportunity runs the entire school year, serving a vibrant PreK-Kindergarten caseload near West Terre Haute, IN. The focus is on providing mostly push-in speech therapy services, collaborating closely with teachers and staff to foster an inclusive environment where all students can thrive.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Demonstrated experience working in school settings, particularly with early childhood populations
  • Strong background in delivering innovative, engaging therapy within classroom settings
  • Comfort with push-in service delivery models and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with early learners and their families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for PreK-Kindergarten students to identify speech and language needs
  • Implement individualized intervention plans, integrating them within classroom routines through push-in sessions
  • Work alongside teachers to model strategies and support student participation
  • Regularly document and monitor progress, adapting strategies as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise on communication development
  • Provide guidance and education for staff and families to promote continuity of support beyond therapy sessions
