Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP in Texas
- Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for eligible students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy services to students with diverse communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support students’ IEP goals
- Document progress and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on speech-language goals and progress
- Offer consultation and training to staff as needed to foster inclusive classroom environments
