Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Valid State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Utah
  • Previous school-based therapy experience preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt therapy plans as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver direct and consultative speech-language services
  • Maintain accurate records and comprehensive documentation for all sessions and assessments
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor student progress and ensure continuity of care
  • Provide evidence-based interventions tailored to diverse student needs across K-12 populations
  • Attend IEP meetings and participate in multidisciplinary teams as necessary
