Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP in Utah
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or strong Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates considered
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Knowledgeable in IEP processes, documentation, and progress tracking
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt and support diverse student populations

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy to students across various age groups
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
  • Maintain clear and accurate records, session notes, and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional insights to guide educational planning
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field
