As a valued member of the educational team, you'll work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators to deliver high-quality speech therapy that addresses diverse student needs.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Utah
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows considered
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Open to collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
- Provide direct therapy and monitor progress for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support classroom success
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school-based activities
