School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | West Winfield, New York

Key Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP-CCC) required
• Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) are also encouraged to apply
• Previous experience in school-based settings is highly valued
• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, as well as intervention strategies appropriate for diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans for K-12 students with communication challenges
• Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to help students achieve their goals
• Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless integration of therapy into students' educational experiences
• Maintain comprehensive records and document student progress in accordance with school and state requirements
