Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP-CCC) required
- Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) are also encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in school-based settings is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, as well as intervention strategies appropriate for diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans for K-12 students with communication challenges
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to help students achieve their goals
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless integration of therapy into students' educational experiences
- Maintain comprehensive records and document student progress in accordance with school and state requirements
