Make a positive impact in the lives of students by bringing your expertise as a full-time, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist to a school-based setting near Westbrook, ME. You'll work closely with a caseload of 20 students, supporting a range of communication skill development while collaborating in an engaged, educational environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid and active SLP license in Maine
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly desired
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, teachers, and families
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ communication abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver targeted therapy—in both one-on-one and small group settings—for students with varied communication strengths and challenges
  • Track progress, maintain accurate records, and update documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student IEP goals and participate in meetings as needed
  • Provide resources and guidance to staff and families to foster skill generalization beyond the classroom
  • Maintain a supportive and positive environment tailored to diverse learners
