This position offers a unique schedule: From January 5, 2026, to March 27, 2026, you’ll spend three days each week at an elementary school and two days at a preschool center. Following spring break, from April 13, 2026, to June 1, 2026, the role transitions to four days each week dedicated to the preschool center.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain before start date
- Experience in school-based settings, preferably with diverse caseloads
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with IEP development and service documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Deliver therapy sessions, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school requirements
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student participation and growth
