Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Westerville, Ohio

This contract role is tailored for professionals experienced with pediatric populations in a school setting, supporting a focused caseload of 18 students.

You will play a vital role in helping students improve their communication and language skills, providing impactful interventions and meaningful support. The assignment is set at a maximum of 20 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid Ohio licensure for Speech-Language Pathologists
• Prior experience providing services to pediatric and/or school-aged populations
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy to a caseload of 18 students, across K-8 grades
• Manage scheduling and plan interventions to accommodate 2,700 therapy minutes each quarter
• Assess and document student progress, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with educators and parents
• Offer recommendations and resources to support students’ communication needs within the classroom
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
