This opportunity is structured for a commitment of up to 30 hours per week, focusing your efforts on delivering a total of 7,160 therapy minutes per quarter. Preferred Qualifications & Background:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (Ohio)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience working in school/educational settings
- Proficient with evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for pediatric and school-aged populations
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and time management
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students grades K-12
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct speech and language interventions according to student needs
- Maintain detailed records and progress data, ensuring compliance with educational requirements
- Consult regularly with teachers and parents to support student outcomes
- Attend relevant meetings and participate actively in the school’s special education team
