Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in pediatric or school-based settings
- Strong background in assessments, individualized education plans (IEPs), and therapeutic interventions
- Familiarity with documentation and data collection protocols in educational environments
- Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students, addressing a range of communication needs
- Manage a caseload of 38 students, ensuring services are delivered in alignment with IEPs
- Accurately schedule and deliver a total of 7,160 minutes of therapy per quarter
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and administration for holistic student support
- Conduct thorough evaluations, develop goals, and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain comprehensive records, progress reports, and compliance with school and state guidelines
- Offer support and resources to families and staff to reinforce skill development
