Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students presenting with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific student needs.
- Lead engaging therapy sessions targeting communication, speech, and language enhancement.
- Carefully document student progress, adjusting approaches as goals are achieved.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and specialized staff to ensure a holistic approach to student care.
- Provide ongoing support and education to families, empowering them to engage in the therapy journey.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology earned from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also considered.
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated capacity for independent work as well as team collaboration.
