Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathology license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants considered
  • Experience with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and goal writing for elementary-aged students
  • SLPA applicants with relevant school or healthcare background are welcome to apply
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills essential

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students, both individually and in small groups
  • Assess and document student progress, adapting intervention strategies for maximum effectiveness
  • Develop, implement, and review IEPs in coordination with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary professionals
  • Participate in team meetings, contribute expertise, and support generalization of communication strategies in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and school policies
