Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants considered
- Experience with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and goal writing for elementary-aged students
- SLPA applicants with relevant school or healthcare background are welcome to apply
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills essential
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students, both individually and in small groups
- Assess and document student progress, adapting intervention strategies for maximum effectiveness
- Develop, implement, and review IEPs in coordination with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary professionals
- Participate in team meetings, contribute expertise, and support generalization of communication strategies in the classroom
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and school policies
