Seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a contract position at an elementary school in Westfield, MA. This opportunity involves working with a dynamic, dual-language school environment. While bilingual ability is not required, it is considered a valuable asset. Candidates will provide speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 50 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to elementary school students
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) on site
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Engage with students, parents, and staff to support communication development
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Experience as an SLP in a school setting, preferably working with elementary-aged students
- Familiarity with dual-language or bilingual educational environments is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students effectively
Schedule and Location:
- 35 hours per week
- Single-site assignment at an elementary school in Westfield, MA
- School hours: 8:45 AM to 3:20 PM
