Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Active and current Massachusetts SLP license (please be prepared to provide a screenshot as proof)
- Experience working as an SLP in school-based settings required
- Bilingual proficiency to support a diverse student population
- SLP-CCC credentials highly desired
- Ability to pass drug screening, fingerprinting, and background/CORI checks
- Dependable transportation and excellent punctuality
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges in K–12 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services in compliance with school policies and federal/state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning
- Accurately document progress, maintain timely records, and attend interdisciplinary meetings
- Proactively communicate schedule changes or absences per protocol
