Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Active and current Massachusetts SLP license (please be prepared to provide a screenshot as proof)
  • Experience working as an SLP in school-based settings required
  • Bilingual proficiency to support a diverse student population
  • SLP-CCC credentials highly desired
  • Ability to pass drug screening, fingerprinting, and background/CORI checks
  • Dependable transportation and excellent punctuality
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges in K–12 students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy and consultative services in compliance with school policies and federal/state guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning
  • Accurately document progress, maintain timely records, and attend interdisciplinary meetings
  • Proactively communicate schedule changes or absences per protocol
