School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Westfield, Massachusetts

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates welcome
• School-based experience working with children and adolescents is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Proficient with IEP process and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in students K-12
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement targeted therapy interventions
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, aides, and parents to integrate strategies and support students across learning environments
• Participate in team meetings, provide in-service training, and contribute expertise to support the overall educational community
