School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Westfield, New York

Step into a dynamic contract role supporting K-12 students through the full upcoming school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Your expertise will make a meaningful difference—providing essential speech and language services to learners in a supportive school environment. This assignment is scheduled from September 8, 2026, through June 24, 2027, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:45 am to 3:00 pm.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Valid state SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience working in a school setting or with K-12 populations
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Commitment to fostering student growth and achievement across diverse age groups

Responsibilities:

• Deliver 20 speech and language sessions per week (30 minutes each) to students in grades K-12
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
• Conduct evaluations, document student progress, and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Provide guidance to classroom staff on strategies for supporting language development
• Maintain accurate session and progress records in compliance with district and state guidelines
