Essential Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan SLP license or eligibility to obtain
  • Strong background in pediatric, educational, or healthcare speech-language pathology
  • Experience or interest in working within school systems (including SLP-CFY applicants)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to supporting children with diverse communication needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and interpret results to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust therapy as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation for student progress and compliance requirements
  • Provide support and guidance to families and educators regarding student needs and strategies for success
