Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience in a school setting, particularly with high school-aged students, is valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in high school students
  • Create and execute individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to integrate support strategies
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and meet required reporting deadlines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and professional development as needed
  • Support students’ academic and social growth through effective intervention
