This contract role is ideal for experienced SLPs as well as Clinical Fellows (CFs) seeking valuable experience and professional development.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Illinois SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged
- Background working with pediatric populations, across diverse needs and settings
- Teletherapy experience a plus
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy services to students in preschool and therapeutic day school environments
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to foster student growth
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and help create supportive learning plans
- Adapt therapy modalities for on-site and virtual (teletherapy) delivery as needed
