Your impact will span a variety of essential functions:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy, including assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and language development delays.
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic and evaluation assessments for students onsite.
  • Develop and present thorough written reports reflecting student progress and assessment outcomes.
  • Work with learners who have moderate to severe disabilities.
  • Draft and maintain IEP objectives tailored to each student’s communication needs.
  • Engage parents and collaborate with staff members regarding student progress and strategies for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Current or eligible Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and a teacher’s license from the Department of Education (IDOE).
  • Prefer 1-2 years of experience as a school-based SLP.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with clarity and compassion.
  • Flexible, solutions-oriented mindset to adapt within a dynamic school setting.
  • Strong collaborative skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
