Qualifications:
- Hold or be eligible for an Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and a teacher’s license from the Department of Education (IDOE)
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting
- Effective communicator and enthusiastic collaborator
- Flexible, with strong problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the planning and delivery of comprehensive speech-language therapy, including assistive technology, augmentative communication, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and receptive/expressive language delays
- Conduct diagnostic and evaluation assessments as required for each student
- Produce detailed, insightful reports and student assessments
- Develop and monitor IEP objectives, ensuring ongoing progress and alignment with student needs
- Communicate regularly with parents and colleagues to report on development and discuss strategies for support
- Comfortable managing a diverse caseload, including students with a wide range of communication needs
