Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students’ communication skills in a dynamic educational environment. This onsite role offers the chance to make a direct impact, working with a diverse caseload of around 60 students. The assignment runs from August 4, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with a standard workweek of 37.5 hours. You’ll collaborate with dedicated educational teams, typically stationed at a single school, with occasional support at a second location.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Current SLP licensure in Alabama (ASHA accredited)
- Possession of a professional educator license for Alabama (see certification details at the Alabama Department of Education website)
- Experience or comfort working with school-aged children
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Willingness to oversee and mentor if CCC-SLP is held
- Comfortable managing a caseload in both elementary and middle school settings
- Contract experience in a school-based environment preferred, but not required
- Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and conduct assessments for students with speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student progress
- Manage required documentation and progress reports
- Travel between schools as needed (generally one, occasionally two sites)
- Provide supervision and mentorship as required for Clinical Fellows
