School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Wetumpka, Alabama

This contract role begins as soon as possible and continues through late May 2027, providing you with stability and professional growth. You'll be working onsite, offering a blend of therapy and evaluations, and will enjoy manageable caseloads with a limit of sixty students.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid Alabama ASHA certification
• Alabama Educator SLP Certification (can begin with pending status)
• Experience providing therapeutic and evaluative services in school settings preferred
• Commitment to ethical, student-centered care and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students from diverse backgrounds
• Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide timely, thorough reports
• Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address each student’s unique needs
• Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student progress
