Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • ASHA certification (CCC) required
  • Possession or eligibility for Alabama Educator SLP Certificate (may start with pending status)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to conduct both therapy and evaluations independently
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to students across assigned campuses
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations and create IEP goals tailored to individual needs
  • Maintain organized records and track student progress in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate optimal outcomes
  • Adapt to blended assignments across two or three campuses, depending on your caseload split
