Desired Qualifications and Credentials:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Preference for individuals holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association
- Valid G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction is essential
- Eligibility for licensure through the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists is advantageous
- Experience or strong interest in school-based settings, including Screening, Testing, Diagnosing, and Advising
- Recent graduates eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) consideration are welcome to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive screening, diagnostic, and therapeutic services to a diverse student population
- Develop, implement, and oversee individualized education plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Analyze assessment data, document progress, and provide timely, actionable feedback
- Provide consultation and training to school staff and caregivers as needed
- Maintain compliance with state and district policies and best practices
