Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP).
  • Must hold a North Carolina Department of Public Instruction “G License.”
  • Optional: Licensure from the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
  • Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and experienced professionals (CCC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive assessment, screening, and diagnostic services for students.
  • Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans to address communication, language, and articulation needs.
  • Advise educators and families on communication strategies and student progress.
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines.
  • Take a proactive role in planning and collaborating with school teams to optimize student success.
