The position is onsite and focuses on serving a middle school caseload (with possible flexibility to work with high school students if preferred). Required Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (TN)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but strong clinical SLP backgrounds are considered
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Drive to create positive, inclusive learning environments
  • Willingness to adapt to middle or high school assignments based on school needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to eligible students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in alignment with student goals
  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring for students with communication disorders
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and other school professionals
  • Document student progress and provide timely reports
  • Contribute to prevention, intervention, and consultation services within the school
