This contract opportunity is uniquely positioned to make a difference within specialized site-based programs, known as MAPS PLUS, encompassing three elementary school classes, one middle school class, and one high school class. You’ll collaborate with a passionate multidisciplinary team, working closely with educators, staff, and families to ensure each student receives the tailored communication support they need to thrive.
Ideal candidates bring experience or strong interest in school-based SLP settings and are dedicated to helping diverse learners achieve meaningful progress.
What You’ll Need:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license and ASHA CCCs (or eligibility)
- Experience in K-12 educational environments, preferably with specialized programs
- Strong skills in assessment, individualized plan development, and targeted intervention
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Flexibility to support multiple age groups and adapt to varying needs
Role Highlights:
- Conduct evaluations for speech and language disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy in small groups and one-on-one settings across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Consult regularly with teachers, aides, and families to maximize student growth
- Maintain organized documentation in compliance with school and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and progress updates
