Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Pennsylvania state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Ability to work with diverse student populations, including elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly desirable
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but clinical fellows (CFY) welcome

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to promote student success
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences
  • Stay current with best practices and participate in professional development opportunities
