Make a difference in the lives of young learners by providing speech-language services within collaborative early intervention settings. Two dedicated speech-language pathologists are needed to deliver itinerant support to preschool children in Carbon and Lehigh Counties throughout the school year and beyond. This opportunity offers a dynamic role serving preschool caseloads, with the flexibility to work with students from PreK through grade 12 as school needs evolve.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania SLP licensure
  • Certification as an educator, Instructional I or II
  • Clinical Certification of Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in schools, especially in early intervention or pediatric settings
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to evolving caseloads, including possible school-age assignment
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • In-person availability for the duration of the contract

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to preschool students across multiple sites within Carbon and Lehigh Counties
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech and language development
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support each child’s goals
  • Adapt to assignment changes that may occur during the academic year
  • Provide services for approximately 35 hours per week, following an Early Intervention, year-round calendar
