Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners by supporting preschoolers and school-aged students as a dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow. You’ll serve children in Carbon and Lehigh Counties, providing vital itinerant services within Early Intervention programs. This engaging, contract-based opportunity features a school calendar that runs year-round, with assignments beginning July 6, 2026 and continuing through June 11, 2027. Candidates should be comfortable working on-site, and have the flexibility to support children from preschool through grade 12 as needs evolve during the academic year.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active provisional or temporary Pennsylvania SLP License (required for consideration)
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year
  • Previous experience or strong desire to work in schools or early childhood settings
  • Adaptability for changes in caseload or assignment throughout the year
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Carbon and/or Lehigh County

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, in-person speech and language therapy services for preschool and school-aged populations
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor, document, and share progress on students’ goals
  • Provide consultative support to families and ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational requirements
  • Respond flexibly to caseload and assignment changes as directed by program needs
