Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP licensure (or eligibility) for practice in educational settings
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
  • Prior experience with early childhood populations (ages 3-5) in school or center-based settings highly valued
  • Skilled in evaluation, development, and implementation of IEPs
  • Committed to culturally responsive, student-centered practice

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for preschoolers
  • Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions to students at varying communication levels
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate carryover of strategies
  • Monitor progress, maintain thorough documentation, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Manage a caseload no larger than 50 students, ensuring personalized attention
  • Flexible daily schedule (7:45 am-3:15 pm), with accommodations possible to support work-life balance
