School Speech Language Pathologist - Whitehall, Pennsylvania

Make a meaningful impact as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a supportive educational environment on a contract basis. This assignment, running from approximately December 13th to February 25th, offers the opportunity to work directly with students in grades 3-12 and help them develop essential communication skills that will benefit them for years to come.

You’ll work within a consistent, structured schedule—spending time each day at both the junior high/high school and S.S. Palmer. Your caseload will comprise about 65 students, providing a dynamic, rewarding mix of needs and ages.

Qualifications:

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility)
• Experience working in school settings, preferably across a range of grade levels
• Strong skills in evaluation, therapy planning, and documentation
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse learning styles and needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students and develop tailored therapy plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals
• Provide direct SLP services as outlined in IEPs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
• Communicate effectively with educational teams to ensure integrated support
