Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active state licensure or eligibility as an SLP, CFY, or SLPA
- Experience or training in schools, teletherapy, or healthcare settings
- Passion for working with elementary and middle school children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
- Familiarity with creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to elementary and middle school students
- Conduct screenings, diagnostic assessments, and progress evaluations
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to individual student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support students’ academic growth and social-emotional development
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
- Offer consultation and resources to staff and parents, supporting inclusive practices
