What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students with varying needs, including severe communication challenges and the use of AAC devices
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop a clear understanding of each student’s strengths and areas for support
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to each student
- Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to ensure a holistic approach to student progress
- Provide after-school services, typically between 2:30 and 5:00 PM, at a residential educational facility
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status—both are welcome
- Active state license for Speech-Language Pathology in New York or willingness to quickly obtain
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
