Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility in Texas
- SLP-CCC or actively completing CFY requirements
- Experience in a school-based setting highly desirable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Commitment to helping students reach their full communication potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy to students with communication disorders
- Maintain clear records, documentation, and progress notes according to district and state standards
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to create supportive learning environments
- Contribute to IEP meetings, providing clinical insights and recommendations
- Adapt therapy materials and methods to meet diverse student needs across multiple caseloads
