This position involves onsite work, where you’ll collaborate with educators and families to help students reach their communication goals. Flexibility is offered based on your language skills: monolingual candidates will enjoy a part-time schedule, while bilingual SLPs may engage in a full-time role.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) status accepted
- Previous school-based SLP experience, including articulation therapy, preferred
- Comfortable working onsite; VOCO/teletherapy skills welcome for future opportunities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
- Capacity to adapt to evolving student needs in dynamic school settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver diagnostics, evaluations, and individualized therapy for students with speech and language disorders
- Provide direct and consultative support for articulation, expressive/receptive language, and additional communication needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed documentation to support compliance and student progress tracking
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of speech and language programming
- Maintain effective communication with families regarding student progress
