Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Whitman, MA

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active state licensure for SLP (or eligibility)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
• Previous experience working in a school environment is desirable
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for working with adolescents in an educational setting

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage a high school caseload, delivering direct speech and language therapy services
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Collaborate closely with special education staff, teachers, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Document student progress and provide regular updates to the IEP team
• Participate in student support meetings and contribute expert recommendations for speech and language development
• Offer training and resources to teachers and staff to foster inclusive communication strategies
