Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CF
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP process, documentation, and goal development
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students ages preschool through high school
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school-based teams to ensure consistent support
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and professional development sessions
  • Stay informed of best practices and new strategies in school-based speech-language services
