Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CF
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process, documentation, and goal development
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students ages preschool through high school
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school-based teams to ensure consistent support
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and professional development sessions
- Stay informed of best practices and new strategies in school-based speech-language services
