Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for California licensure (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow accepted)
  • Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Compassionate manner and commitment to student progress

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students with a range of communication disorders
  • Evaluate and assess speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in collaboration with other educators and families
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports for each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student growth
  • Participate in IEP meetings and other school-based team discussions
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field
