School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Whittier, California

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the vibrant communities surrounding Whittier and Pasadena, CA! This full-time role (with a part-time option for PreK) covers the 2026/2027 school year and offers the chance to work across multiple settings, including elementary and high school levels as well as NPS/private school caseloads.

You'll collaborate with dedicated educators and families, delivering speech and language services directly to students ranging from PreK through high school. The ideal candidate holds a valid CTC credential, possesses strong clinical and communication skills, and thrives in a dynamic, student-focused environment. The position is open to both experienced SLP-CCCs and qualified SLP-CFY candidates, with supervision possibilities. Please note, SLPAs are not part of this assignment.

What You’ll Bring:

• Valid CTC credential (required)
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
• SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials; new graduates encouraged to apply (pending supervision availability)
• School-based experience highly preferred
• Ability to serve PreK through high school caseloads, including mild/moderate and extensive needs
• Solid understanding of IEP process and best practices in school speech therapy
• Strong collaboration and organization skills

Your Impact:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy services
• Serve students across elementary, high school, and NPS/private school settings
• Manage therapy at multiple sites, including in-person and occasional home/hospital visits
• Document services and progress in compliance with state and district guidelines
