School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Whittier, California

This contract opportunity invites both seasoned Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC or CFY), as well as dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, to serve a diverse school population. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology for SLP roles; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree for SLPA roles
• Current California licensure or eligibility as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA
• Experience in K–12 settings preferred, but entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with educators, students, and families
• Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and electronic documentation
• Comfortable delivering services in person or via teletherapy platforms

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans individualized for each student’s unique needs
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals and best practices
• Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to encourage carryover of communication strategies
• Supervise SLPA staff (for SLP-CCC roles) to ensure quality of care and compliance
• Document services provided and student progress in a timely, organized manner
• Attend and participate in eligibility, IEP, and other multidisciplinary team meetings
