Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP licensure
- Eligibility for school-based assignments or current certification
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and work both independently and with a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified deficits
- Deliver therapy sessions in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel for comprehensive student support
- Monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with policies and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input to support student learning
