Essential Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in a school setting highly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Dedication to fostering student growth and collaborative problem-solving
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized therapy plans for students with speech and language needs
- Provide direct therapy services based on IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Maintain timely and accurate records of assessments, treatment, and progress
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to IEP development, and offer consultative services as needed
- Communicate clearly with caregivers and staff regarding progress and strategies
Position Details:
- Contract position for the entire school year: August 17th, 2026 – June 4th, 2027
- 24 hours per week
- Set schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
- Elementary school environment near Wilkesboro, NC
