Speech Language Pathologist in Wilkesboro, NC

Essential Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience working in a school setting highly preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Dedication to fostering student growth and collaborative problem-solving

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized therapy plans for students with speech and language needs
• Provide direct therapy services based on IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
• Maintain timely and accurate records of assessments, treatment, and progress
• Participate in team meetings, contribute to IEP development, and offer consultative services as needed
• Communicate clearly with caregivers and staff regarding progress and strategies

Position Details:

• Contract position for the entire school year: August 17th, 2026 – June 4th, 2027
• 24 hours per week
• Set schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
• Elementary school environment near Wilkesboro, NC
