Make a significant impact as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist working with a diverse elementary school population. This rewarding opportunity, based near Willard, MO, runs from August 10th, 2026, through the end of the school year, and offers a consistent full-time schedule of 37.5–40 hours per week.
As the SLP, you will manage a caseload of approximately 35 students from Kindergarten through 4th grade across a single elementary campus. The environment encompasses a variety of classroom settings, including essential skills, cross-categorical, and speech-only groups, providing a unique chance to work with a broad spectrum of learners and collaborate closely with educational staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP certification required
- Active state license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Pediatric and school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable providing supervision for an SLPA
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Deliver evidence-based therapy in both individual and small group settings
- Provide supervision and mentorship to an assigned SLPA
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support students’ growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with school and state mandates
