This full-time, contract position is designed for a compassionate professional who is passionate about supporting children and young adults from kindergarten through 12th grade. You'll play a vital role in helping students develop functional skills essential for educational success and daily participation in the school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active state license as an Occupational Therapist (or eligibility to obtain)
- NBCOT certification preferred
- Experience working with pediatric or school-based populations is highly valued
- Familiarity with assistive technology and sensory strategies is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and address fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and self-regulation needs of diverse student populations
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plan (IEP/504) goals and accommodations
- Provide direct therapy services, push-in classroom support, and expert consultation to educational staff
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education teams, and families to foster student growth
- Recommend and adapt equipment or classroom settings to maximize student independence
- Maintain thorough documentation of services provided and monitor progress toward established goals

- Full-time hours based on a school schedule, following the academic year from August 2026 to June 2027
