Step into a dynamic full-time role providing essential occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade for the 2026-2027 academic year. As a valued member of the school-based team, you'll play a critical role in helping students build the fine motor, sensory, and self-regulation skills they need to participate fully in their education. This contract opportunity spans August 2026 to June 2027, with a schedule that aligns with the academic calendar—giving you built-in holidays, breaks, and summer off.

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations and delivering individualized therapy to address fine motor, sensory processing, and visual-motor needs. You'll design and implement effective IEP/504 goals, provide both direct and consultative support in classrooms, and collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families. Your expertise will help tailor equipment and classroom environments to increase student independence and participation, while careful documentation will track service delivery and student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state Occupational Therapist license or eligibility
  • NBCOT certification (preferred)
  • Experience with pediatric or school-based populations is advantageous
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and sensory strategies is a plus
