Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license for Virginia (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric caseloads highly desirable
- Ability to develop IEPs and provide therapy both individually and in group settings
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, articulation, and communication disorders
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other school professionals to promote inclusive support
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
- Provide education to teachers and parents regarding speech and language development
- Utilize technology and creative resources to enhance student engagement and outcomes
