Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student goals and IEPs
- Provide direct therapy services to individuals or small groups in accordance with school policies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to maximize student progress
- Document treatment, progress, and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to development and review of student goals
- Educate staff and families on speech-language disorders and strategies for support in academic settings
